Each incredible home features an open plan layout, engineered oak hardwood flooring, an in-unit LG washer/dryer, and chic kitchens with white high gloss cabinetry, sleek white countertops, contrasting matte black paneling, a subway tile backsplash, and a suite of high-end stainless steel appliances from Blomberg and Fisher & Paykel.
The building lobby is adorned grey tiled floors, exposed brick walls, and an original mural from a local artist. A common recreational area is outfitted with leather and velvet seating, an electric fireplace, a 48-inch Smart TV, custom reclaimed wood furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, and coffee machines.
The building is just blocks away from the Brooklyn Public Library, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and Prospect Park. 720 Nostrand Avenue has easy access to a multitude of popular restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes. Nearby modes of public transportation include the 2, 3, 4, 5, and S subway lines.
Pacific Tavern's interior, designed by the award-winning Hayden Collective, reflects the hip sensibilities of the surrounding area while also paying tribute to Brooklyn's storied past. The multi-level restaurant offers the choice to observe passers-by in the glass-encased Cascade Bar on the 2nd floor, or watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open-kitchen dining room.
Adjacent to the northeastern corner of Prospect Park in central Brooklyn, Crown Heights is a culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhood with a strong sense of community. It is bounded by Bedford-Stuyvesant to the north, Prospect Lefferts Gardens to the south, and Brownsville to the east. While it has long been overshadowed by its affluent neighbor on the west side of the park, Crown Heights is swiftly becoming a sought after home for people in every stage of life.
Historically, the neighborhood was known as a refuge for the city’s elite, and this is evident in the rich assortment of brownstones and houses that still line its streets. Up until the mid-20th Century it was the home of the legendary Ebbets Field and the Brooklyn Dodgers, and for several decades following World War II the neighborhood was transformed into an enclave for the Hasidic Jewish community. Throughout the rest of the century the neighborhood saw a steady influx African American and Caribbean. Elements of all three groups continue to maintain a distinct presence in the area.
Today, Crown Heights possesses an eclectic collection of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops that are representative of those that have lived in the neighborhood for generations. Some well-known Caribbean spots include Glady’s and Gloria’s, and Mendy’s Delicatessen has been serving up kosher delights across the city for more than 25 years. Other points of interest include the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, the Jewish Children’s Museum, and the Weeksville Heritage Center. The West Indian American Day Carnival is held yearly and runs along Eastern Parkway. Subway lines that serve the neighborhood include the A/C/2/3/4/5.
